When people think of emigrating to Europe for the summer, they think of sunny destinations such as Spain, Greece or Portugal. So it’s safe to say that the last place that would spring to anyone’s mind is the tropical paradise that is Finland !
As a training consultant, my career has taken me all over Ireland & the United Kingdom. The longest of these trips occurring last year, when I spent two weeks in Edinburgh.

Although the contract only ran for three months (June – September), the opportunity was one that I simply couldn’t turn down.
I immediately set about booking my flights and securing my accommodation. One of my favorite pastimes, is collecting old vinyl records. In fact, over the past five years, I have collected over 570 vinyls ranging from the 1950’s to the early 1980’s.
As this collection is quite sentimental to me, my main concerns were based around how to transport this precious cargo, and my other important possessions over to Finland in one piece!
